Manchester United forward Federico Macheda admits he will leave the club in the summer when his contract runs out because David Moyes does not share Sir Alex Ferguson’s belief in the Italian.
Macheda, on loan at Birmingham City in the Championship, made his United debut in 2009 as a 17-year-old – coming on as a substitute against Aston Villa and scoring the winning goal.
Five years on, though, his career at Old Trafford looks over and, after short-term moves away to the likes of Sampdoria, QPR, Doncaster Rovers and now Birmingham City, he wants a fresh start.
