Trudging on

12 Jul

TRUDGING ON…

The road may seem long, as it has always been,
And hours turned into a hog, a replica of a bin,
When your pockets become a morgue,
And favor long taken by the rogue, leaving you without a job
Take heart and keep trudging on.

Love may have turned a den of calamity, relax,
Your humility driven you into a class of anonymity, relax,
And when eyes could have turned into spears of enmity, relax,
Turn into an object of integrity without proximity,
Take heart and keep trudging on.

Life could have proved much a failure, never worry,
Issues engaged a cloud of malice, debts you marry
And neighbors held high the chalice, to provoke you in a hurry,
Never mind, neither face no jury
Take heart and keep trudging on.

Days might hold u even tight, heed to prayer,
When all good takes a turn, enhance the game as a player,
Keep at bay…for who knows the sixth minute disaster?
Take heart and keep trudging on.
